Woman in women’s shoes reveals she’s been wearing them since she was a baby
We all know how the world feels about men who wear women’s clothes.
They’re the bad guys, the misogynists, and the misogynist-in-chief.
But is that really true?
According to women’s footwear designer Mary E. Pritchard, it’s not.
In her latest project, she created a range of women’s “shake shoes” that she says “are not just for women, but for every woman in our world.”
In them, she offers women a range “of women’s styles, styles, and styles of all sizes, shapes, colours, and sizes.”
In a video, Pritches an old pair of women`s shake shoes she had bought as a baby and which she says she has worn for 20 years, explaining the shoes.
The shoe, she explains, was originally designed to accommodate her own “small hands” (that was not at all a problem in the early 1980s).
“In my first couple of years of shopping, I had these shoes that were about 6.5 inches in width,” Pritchers explained.
“I started to get these problems that I could not get the fit right for my feet.
So I decided to make the shoes a little wider.””
In the second year of wearing them, I got very comfortable with them, and I realized they could be worn to the gym for me.
It just felt really good to wear them to the house for me.”
Pritchers’ women’s shoe collection was inspired by her mother`s mother.
She said that her mother bought her a pair of the women` shoes because she was “really picky about shoes for her daughter, and she loved the women’s brands that they made.”
She added that her mom bought the shoes to wear to work as a “dress-up outfit.”
She said that while the shoes have been worn by “very well-behaved people for decades, I think women` have been wearing these shoes for far longer.”
Pittles said that she was inspired to create her women’s shapewear after her mother had been diagnosed with osteoarthritis.
She started using her mother as an example of how women can be able to wear the shoes and still have “their own style.”
“I remember being in my grandmother`s house in the mid 80s, and my mom wore these shoes, and then she just went back to wearing them and it was just like, wow, she`s really good-looking,” Pittles recalled.
“And it`s like, well, that`s what she does.”
Pits shoes, Pits shoes: She’s not the only one.
In 2014, a new study revealed that women were using women’s style shoes as their go-to shoe for their casual, everyday wear.
The study from the University of California, Santa Barbara, showed that women have worn women’s fashion shoes for a total of 3,906 years.
This was after women used the shoes for their everyday wear as well.
While the research does not provide an exact number of women who have worn these shoes (the study does not include the women who do not have osteoarthropathy), Pits Shoes says that the number of people who wear them has increased by over 50% in the past 20 years.
The women who buy the womens shoes are not the typical customers of her shop, she explained.
She also pointed out that women often buy the shoes because they want a style they can wear to a party, a date, or to the office.
“There are many things that women can do with these shoes.
They can wear them in a cocktail dress, they can go for walks in them, or they can have them on at home for their work and then put them on as a casual outfit,” Pits explained.”
I have a lot of friends who are really into these shoes and really enjoy wearing them.
But we also have women who are looking for something that is not just casual.
We have women in this age range who wear it all the time.”
Pitches shoes, women, and shoes: Why should we care?
Pits Shoes is one of many designers in the women”s footwear industry who are embracing the women as the “people” in their shoe line.
In a 2015 report, the National Retail Federation found that women shoppers were spending an average of $5,400 a year on their shoes.
That figure is up from $3,500 in 2013, and Pits says she sees an increase in women buying shoes for work as well as everyday wear, and for “personal wear.”
“If we can help women in their everyday lives, then we are helping women everywhere,” Pitches told me.
“And I think that is why we are able to sell so many women` s styles of shoes.”
