This is the world’s first all-women’s shoe collection
The women’s shoe industry has exploded in recent years, but for many women it’s still a small part of the overall industry.
While women are increasingly getting involved in fashion and design, there is still a stigma attached to the business.
Here’s a look at some of the women’s footwear industry’s most prominent brands, with their stories and thoughts about their beginnings.1.

Founded in 1928, the company has had a number of women’s designer collaborations, such as the women of Glam, the woman behind the famous, couture-inspired sunglasses, that have since been passed down through the brand.
While some of its women’s designers have been outspoken about the industry’s problems with diversity, they’ve also been outspoken in their support for women’s rights.
“I am proud to be part of an industry that is fighting to change the way it is, because it is not OK,” founder Anna Hwang said in a 2015 interview with the Guardian.
“We have to fight for women.
The world is not ready to hear the word ‘women’.”18.
